"This is by far the best course I've been on. All aspects of the experience are excellent, and the end result is certainly something to be very proud of. Ben is great at letting the sessions flow, but is always on-hand if assistance is required. It's no wonder Ben gets repeat customers, I'll certainly be one too!"

"I’ve recently completed Ben’s Windsor Chair course and I can thoroughly recommend it. Margaret Ferguson reviewed: Paper Marbling Class Full Day at Portsmouth Museum

"I did this course last Friday and it was brilliant. I learned a lot about Ebru marbling techniques and was delighted with what I produced at the end of the day. James was an excellent teacher and made sure that I had a taste of the different aspects and then allowed me to concentrate on those parts I liked best. I came away with not only a real buzz of enthusiasm but also a feeling of relaxation after such an enjoyable and interesting day."

James Mouland Ebru Studio responded:

"It was a real pleasure teaching you Margaret, you produced some lovely work by really focusing on the colours and patterns you wanted to achieve, I look forward to welcoming you again."

Jane reviewed: Personalised creative photography tuition

"David was an excellent tutor, able to adapt the session to provide the information and practice that I needed to take the type of photos that I wanted to be doing. As I used the same type of camera he was willing to let me try his lenses so that I could explore the different type of photos I could take with each one. He shared a wide range of tips and tools to help improve my photography."

Lisa C reviewed: Dry stone walling course Lancashire/Yorkshire/Manchester/Leeds/Sheffield/North West

"I highly recommend this Dry Stone Walling course as I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend learning every aspect of learning how to build and repair a dry stone wall. Being outside in the fresh air and being with new people did me the world of good. John is great he certainly knows his stuff! I learned new skills, kept active and got a huge sense of satisfaction at the end of the two days. The course also teaches you about Mindfulness which I had no idea about before so that was very useful to. I would definitely say do this course you won't regret it! It's brilliant and you will enjoy every minute of it. The location is beautiful and John is a great teacher and the final outcome is so worth it. And trust me you will sleep both nights! I highly recommend this course you won't regret it!"

Pauline reviewed: Make a silver ring or bangle

"Lucy is a gifted and patient teacher and David and I had a fantastic day making wedding rings. To go from zero experience to two fully fledged and very wearable rings in a day was an exciting achievement for complete beginners. I enjoyed it all so much I went back for a second day and made a bangle. Lucy was great company and her workshop an inspiring and lovely space to be in. We learnt loads in a very relaxed and unhurried way. And the photographs were great!"

"Just back from a really wonderful day in Caroline's studio. She is such an inspiring teacher and I will definitely book to do another day's course with her in the future. She advises and helps you in a relaxed and supportive way and her studio is bright and inviting. Hesitate no longer. Book yourself on a course and I am sure you will not regret it. WALLACE FROOMS reviewed: Wood turning courses in the Midlands

"Had an great 1 day with Mark, having not done any woodturning in over 5 years, I decided to approach the course as a complete novice (you can forget a lot in that time). From start to finish he explained everything and guided me through the process of a beginner. It was a long day 9am to 7pm, with a lot to learn, and lots of questions, Mark is very good and patient teacher and a good communicator so that I had no difficulty in understanding what was required. I would thoroughly recommend Mark and the course."

Emily Ford reviewed: One day slab-building clay workshop

"I had the most enjoyable 'clay day' today at the Sugi Ceramics workshop, Elmswell, hosted by proprietor and most talented artist Louise Gridley. I found the experience to be both therapeutic and relaxing, whilst allowing me to be present and focussed. I created a beautiful name plaque for my home titled, 'Spiritus', which is the Greek word meaning, 'Breath of Life'. It did me the world of good to get out of my comfort zone, and to be in a creative space, something I would encourage anybody to do. Sugi Ceramics comes highly recommended to people of all ages and abilities. In gratitude, Emily Ford"

Sharon reviewed: Storybook Paper Dresses - a one day Workshop with Jennifer Collier, at the Henley School of Art

"The studio at the Henley School of Art is a stunning location for a life drawing course. Jo Harris is an enthusiastic, motivating and funny teacher, full of insight and encouragement and puts everyone at their ease. I learnt so much on this course - each week has a different life model and covers a new aspect (body part/art medium) but graduates to an end point where the student has confidence in finding their own style and level of ability. We each received a folder on the first day in which to store Jo’s weekly comprehensive handouts and which also included a sketch book to practice in between classes. The refreshments are first class and the general ambiance is positive and delightful. I highly recommend Jo’s life drawing classes, whatever your ability."

Sandra reviewed: Five day woodwork course - tools

"What a fun week! The workshop is in a lovely location and full of everything you need. Richard and Mark are patient, generous tutors who are always on hand to instruct and guide (and provide a bit of elbow grease when arms are aching!). I made a lovely step stool and got the opportunity to have a play with some other tools while I was waiting for my glue to dry (lathe, scroll saw, mitre saw....). I would thoroughly recommend this course, you will come away with a piece of beautiful furniture and the confidence to use hand and power tools for your own projects."

Susie reviewed: 1 day introduction to silver jewellery making

"What a fantastic day Jonathan is an excellent teacher, and in just a single day we managed to make 2 pieces each under his direction. Not only that but we were given a whistletop intense introduction to the world of silversmithing, along with plenty of humour, coffee (lovely bikkies), and a great lunch. The first class factsheets that were emailed later have ensured that you can continue benefiting from his advice and guidance in the future. Heartily recommended"

Terry Sandford reviewed: Wood turning courses in the Midlands

"Just returned from a brilliant two day course with Mark Hancock, upon arrival i was greeted warmly by Mark and I was quickly put at ease by his teaching method, we soon had a good rapport going. I was taught the aspects of basic wood turning and tool sharpening. This was for me very informative as I am a complete novice. I would highly recommend (and Mark hasn't paid me to say this) to you if you are thinking of wood turning as a hobby Mark Hancock comes highly recommended (absolutely brilliant)."
