Kathryn F reviewed: Metal clay jewellery workshop

"Just home from a fabulous afternoon of beginner’s introduction to silver clay. Jo is a knowledgeable, patient and fascinating tutor who quickly equipped me with the skills to make something I’m really proud of! I would highly recommend the class, especially to those who enjoy leaving a class with a real sense of satisfaction. Looking forward to one of the follow on classes :o)"

Rockpool Jewellery responded:

"Thank you so much for your review Kathryn! I am so glad you enjoyed the course. It was the first course I have held at Earsdon but I will definitely be holding more in the future as it is a great space for the workshops. The next workshop I will be arranging will be textured/moulds and/or embed fable gemstone setting. If there is anything else in particular that you would like to learn let me know - I arrange different types of classes if there is enough demand. Hope to see you at one of the next workshops! Jo"

Kathy Hutchings reviewed: Relax, stretch, and release tension with a small group, in the woods

"A wonderful and deeply nourishing day away from the busy world, it was such a gift to experience the beauty of all that nature holds, to be guided in really seeing, smelling and feeling so much more than I ever have before and I spend a great deal of time in nature. I came away with an even greater appreciation of all that nature offers us and a deeply profound sense of stillness within. Thank you."

Sarah reviewed: Introduction to Bees and Beekeeping

"I attended this workshop yesterday and had a thoroughly enjoyable morning. Ken and Clive are incredibly knowledgeable on beekeeping. It was a very relaxed morning and is a fantastic introduction to what is required to become a beekeeper. The workshop also covered wearing the gowns and inspecting an actual hive, which was fascinating. We finished the morning off with a lovely lunch. Highly recommended."

Oakdale Bees responded:

"Thank you for the lovely review Sarah. We are so thrilled you enjoyed it and hope to see you again sometime!"

Clémence Legrand reviewed: A journey to the centre of the hive

"Your workshop was a pleasure, Agnès! You shared your passion very easily and thoroughly; and getting introduced to the bees themselves while looking through the observation hive was amazing. You took us through the whole journey, and from theory to practice. I really enjoyed the interactivity, for the attendants to be able to move, touch, smell, and taste. Thank you!"

Angie reviewed: Glass Fusing for beginners

"My friend & I went on a copperfoil workshop & totall loved it all. Gigha was a really excellent tutor, her demonstrations were clear & easy to understand. She gave individual demonstrations if you needed extra guidance. We had never done any glass cutting before & it is so pleasing once you get the hang of it. We would thoroughly recommend Gigha's workshops. There were plenty of patterns & loads of glass & embellishments to choose from or you could choose to make your own design. We could help ourselves to tea, coffee & biscuits all day long & were given a lovely lunch of baked potatoes with cheese/ham/baked beans & salad, plus cakes and fruit to follow. Can't wait to try some leaded panels ;-)"

Campbell reviewed: Make a Welsh stick chair

"I cannot recommend both this course and Ben highly enough. Somehow Ben managed to make the week relaxing, informative, great fun and educational all at once. The venue is spectacular, set in the beautiful Redwood Valley woodland, and Ben could not be a better teacher - patient, phenomenally knowledgeable, good humoured and a decent chef too! I came back home after the week refreshed, more confident in my woodworking, and with a beautiful Welsh stick chair to cherish for many years. Thanks a million, Ben!"

Jane Hudson reviewed: Dorset weekly pottery classes

"I love Rachel's pottery classes. The group is lively and fun and very supportive, and I would love to do it every day if I had the time. Even though I am a real novice to the Art she never makes me feel I have nothing to contribute and I have been very pleased with the pieces I have produced. I look forward to learning more and hopefully getting more proficient!"

"A really enjoyable morning. Rebecca was relaxed and well prepared. I found her instructions easy to follow, she answered all my questions clearly. It was a very productive training session. As any leftie knows there are things you invariably have to work around with practical learning but this was not the case with weaving. I intend to learn more."

Susan Lyons reviewed: Improvers crochet workshop ~ crochet mandala frame with Made in Winchester

""The Crochet Mandala Frame class led by Becca Miles of Made In Winchester was a delightful afternoon of creative fun and camaraderie. All the materials to create a beautiful Mandala were provided, and Becca's expert tuition guided us successfully through the process... a bit of basic crochet competence was necessary, but the stitches were not hard to learn, and we were able to work at our own pace. The class was held in a lovely, light filled space, with plenty of elbow room for us all, and Becca's delicious cake and tea break was a rejuvenating boost halfway through the 3-hour class. It was particularly gratifying to be able to complete a beautiful piece of work within a relatively short time. I can highly recommend this class!”"

Made in Winchester responded:

"Thank you for your lovely review Sue. It was great having you at the workshop and seeing how much you enjoyed too."
