"My daughter purchased a session as a birthday surprise and something we could do together. I was initially a bit nervous because I'm not creative and my daughter is. However, Julie soon put me at ease and I thoroughly enjoyed my session. I was quite blown away by the amount of different products in Julie's workshop - lots of beautiful colours and different textures that I found it hard to choose; like being a kid in a sweetie shop. Julie was very friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. She was there each step of the process and gave advice but not in an overbearing manner so I felt very comfortable attempting to produce my own glass objects. Julie's mince pies and apple pies which went down well with our tea/coffee. I had a thoroughly enjoyable session and will be returning."

"I attended the beginners fused glass workshop at the Quilt Cabin a couple of weeks ago. It was such a lovely day - very well organised with a lovely group of ladies & Melanie was an excellent teacher. All materials were provided , including a nice lunch & refreshments . I’ve just collected my pieces after they’ve been fired & I'm so pleased with them. An excellent day & really good value. Looking forward to another one next year."

Karen is a patient, and friendly tutor whose experience and skill is manifest in the outcomes people went home with. A great set of skills and a variety of courses available. "Fantastic experience and a very enjoyable day. I was a complete novice, having never made anything before - Kate is very encouraging, really good at explaining what you need to do step by step, demonstrating each of the processes and great at supporting you with your ideas of what to create. The setting of the course at the Jenny Ring was great, we were very well looked after with refreshments, lunch, cake and prosecco!! I would highly recommend the experience. "I spent a happy morning learning what silver clay is and how it behaves in the process of being shaped, dried, zapped in the kiln and finally, polished up. Fiona knows her stuff and is good at explaining it to a total beginner. I'd recommend the workshop to anyone who loves beauty and wishes to get away from the mass-produced, and by the way the silver is purer than you buy as normal sterling. The fee for the class is very good value: add the cost of equipment, the venue, Fiona's training and her time, the processing materials and the fact that you take home a piece of silverwork to use or give, and it's a nifty bargain. Fiona is also very pleasant and practical; and she will say if something really won't work, which saves you wasting your precious blob of silver! Go and enjoy."

"I spent the day with two lovely ladies and Georgina. I have done metal clay before but have not quite grasped it enough to practice at home. I was so inspired that I immediately dug out my stuff at home. The venue is easy to find and park nearby. I highly recommend it as Georgina explains in a methodical way and demonstrated in such a practical way. My friends have been so impressed by the results they have put their orders in"

"I really enjoyed this workshop and I would recommend it to my friends and family too. The venue was nice and suitable for the purpose. Nikki's guidance and instructions were clear and helpful. She was always at hand to give support to everyone who needed it. The size of the group was appropriate too. I took home a finished product which I love. For the price Nikki charges, you get over 5 hours of workshop time, all supplies and refreshments and you get to work alongside other friendly crafters."
