The layers of natural materials and beautiful stitching are what make this heritage craft skill so intriguing. There comes a time in every day when all we want to do is put our feet up. The question is: do you have a plush footstool for yours? Because if not, this is something you should seriously consider... This bespoke 2-day course is built to give you the perfect taster into the world of traditional upholstery. Bristol Upholstery Collective will help you use all the tools and understand methods that have been used for centuries. You'll leave having made your very own family heirloom. A piece of furniture you can pass down for generations. It's the perfect reupholstery project. Not only that, but you will also leave with transferable skills to start you on your upholstery adventure. Whatever your skill level or reason for attending this enjoyable upholstery course won't disappoint! Each ticket covers the weekend: Sat 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM Sun 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM With a 30-minute lunch break. We have a wide range of legs you can choose from to customise the design of your footstool and really make it your own. Choose from either more traditional wooden legs (which you could stain at a later date) or some of our bright and colourful Hair Pin Legs. (Hair Pin Copper legs are extra £20, Brass castor legs Extra £25) Once you have made your booking we will be in touch to find out which legs you would like to add to your lovely footstool!

What's included in the price?

The frame and materials are all provided, all you need to do is come along with 1 metre of your favourite upholstery fabric.
