Description

Cozy up into winter and discover how to make an adorable realistic ’Acorn Mouse’ with the expert guidance of Cecily Kate, from Art Felt Fibres. Ideal for all abilities. Cecily Kate will guide you through basic and intermediate felting skills, including how to use the needles, blend colours, sculpt and wrap wool in order to create this beautiful wee mouse. During this workshop you will learn: ~ How to form the core mouse shape - a great skill for needle felting other small creatures. ~ How to wrap simple wire for your mouse's arms and feet. ~ How to wet felt your mouse's tail. ~ How to needle felt layers of authentically coloured wool so you can breathe fur and life into your mouse. ~ How to tightly wrap wool and wet felt to easily create a hard little acorn that we will fix into a real acorn cap.

What's included in the price?

All materials, wool, template, needles, needle tool and 100% wool pad provided. Plus a delicious lunch and freshly baked cakes from The Oast Bakery. You take home your adorable needle felted Mouse & Acorn plus the printed template so you can scale it down to make a perfectly proportioned mouse family, if you wish!
