Introduction to Dressmaking | Pyjama bottoms with Amanda Bowden
Description
Amanda Bowden the Swimming Seamstress of Felixstowe Sewing School will teach you the basics of dressmaking through her PJ bottom design. Amanda will create a bespoke pattern to your own measurements and preferred length that you will then use to make your very own pair of pyjama bottoms! Amanda will guide you through every step of the production; from measuring and choosing fabric (pre-course), to pattern layout and marking, to cutting, sewing and fitting and adjusting and finishing.
What's included in the price?
All tools, materials, tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, but please bring a packed lunch. If you have your own sewing machine, we recommend you bring that, so you can learn for your specific machine, but we do have machines available. We also suggest bringing your own fabric as although we have some, it is of variable and limited quality; details as to what will be required will be provided in advance of the course.
