Description
Learn how to transform fleece into yarn. Use a drop spindle and a spinning wheel. The course over 2 days covers mechanics, co-ordination, drafting skills and plying. The dates are Sunday 17th and Saturday 30th November, 2024 10am-3pm. Course price is for the 2 days, please book the first date to secure your booking for the two days. You will produce 2 bobbins of yarn over 2 days. There will be the opportunity to use more than one type of spinning wheel, a niddy-noddy, lazy Kate and skein winder over 2 days.
What's included in the price?
All materials and equipment are supplied. There will be tea, coffee, biscuits, cake and fun. Please bring a packed lunch on both days.

FAQs
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own spinning wheel to the second half of the course. We will do our best to make sure that it is working and help you to use it if at all possible. Some wheels just need a little oil and a bit of persuasion!
