Handmade with H is a brand new upholstery and design workshop created by Worcestershire designer & upholsterer Harry Harrison, the founder of Handmade By H. This one day workshop will be held in various locations around the three counties at regular intervals throughout the year. The workshop involves the start to finish production of a footstool and cushion in matching fabrics chosen from a huge range of H’s stock fabrics. Running from 09.30am – 14.30pm all you need to bring is yourself! The groups will have no more than 6 attendees to allow us to give customers our full attention and the opportunity for one-to-one tuition with H throughout the day. While researching and formulating this workshop we soon realised that many courses/workshops of this type included lots of additional costs such as, requiring the customers to purchase fabrics and materials on top of the tuition price with many even charging for tool hire and some charging customers for the piece they’ve created, not to mention only supplying tea/coffee throughout the day. So when we say you only need to bring yourself we really mean it, we will supply absolutely everything you need: · All materials necessary to construct your footstool and cushion · A huge array of fabrics to choose from · Use of all tools needed · Lunch with tea/coffee available all day · Expert tuition from H and his team With a price of £340.00 per person this really is the perfect day out whether it be for yourself or a gift for friends/family. Handmade with H is a brand new series of upholstery & sewing courses, workshops and 1-2-1 tuition days formulated by Harry Harrison founder of Handmade By H- a country textiles, interiors and upholstery business based in Worcestershire. H started HMBH in 2018 as a sideline/hobby business and as time went by the business grew into a full time venture now employing members of staff to help keep up with the demand of domestic reupholstery, commercial contracts and stocking a soft furnishings & furniture showroom at DeBeers Garden Centre Hartlebury. After lots of requests, the odd 1-2-1 lesson with friends and lots of deliberation H has decided now is the time to start sharing everything he’s learnt in the last 6 years with other people.
