Craft Retreat Weekend - Felt Floral Wreath, Loom Knitted Snood Scarf, Macrame Plant Holder and Macrame Necklace
Description
If you fancy a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then why not come along to a craft retreat. We will spend two relaxing days trying a variety of different crafts in a beautiful location. During the weekend you will get to make and hand sew a variety of felt flowers and create a stunning floral wreath. Try the fun craft of loom knitting and knit a cosy snood scarf, make a macrame plant holder and a pretty macrame necklace. Along with good food, wine tasting, cake and refreshments, it really is a treat of a weekend. The retreat venue is the beautiful Old Walls Vineyard, located in the village of Bishopsteignton in South Devon and the retreat is from Fri 22nd Nov - Sun 24th Nov 24. The retreat will be lead by me, Lyndsey. I am a qualified adult teacher and have been running craft workshops for the last 12 years. This will be the fourth weekend retreat at this fabulous venue and with numbers limited to 12 people there will be plenty of 1-to-1 instruction, so no previous experience is required. All materials and equipment are provided and there will be variety of materials available, in a variety of colours to suit all tastes. Our crafting room is on the first floor above the vineyard restaurant and overlooks the Teign Valley. Accommodation is in the self contained vineyard lodges, which are just a short stroll from the restaurant overlooking the vineyard. The accommodation for the weekend is a vineyard lodge. There are six self contained lodges nestled at the bottom of the fully operational vineyard looking up to the vines on the south facing slopes above. Each lodge has an equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, bathroom, double room and twin room. Along with a front veranda and rear patio. There is parking next to each lodge. You can choose to book a lodge for just yourself or to share, the prices show both options. Each lodge contains two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. If you choose to share the lodge, you will have a bedroom to yourself and the bedrooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to share a lodge with a friend and you are booking separately, please let me know so I can ensure that you are allocated a lodge together. All our meals will be prepared and served in the Old Walls Vineyard Restaurant. Specific dietary requirements can be catered for, please let me know when booking if you have any dietary requirements. If you live in the local area and would prefer to attend during the day only, there is a day guest option.
