Come along and learn to knit a pair of fingerless gloves Ever wanted to learn a new skill that can be used to make garments and gifts, then this is the course for you. By using just a couple of neddles and some wool, we will guide you through the process to make a simple pair of fingerless gloves. The basics of knitting will be shared so you can leave here with the knowledge to continue at home. You'll quickly learn that knitting can be addictive! Once you know the basics you will be knitting all kinds of things. Come along and try something new!
What's included in the price?
You do not need to bring anything, but if you would like to bring your own wool please feel free. For beginners, please make sure the wool is double knit (DK) and not fluffy. We will have a selection of wool available and knitting needles, that have have been provided through generous donations from other crafters. ** We are a small charity devoted to getting people into craft. We aim to keep our workshop price as low as possible in order to make it as accessible as we can. We are always taking in donations of fabric and craft supplies, which we put towards future projects. So if you are clearing out your cupboards, please feel free to bring anything to the session that needs a new home. ** Children (10 years & up) are welcome at the session, but they must be accompanied by an adult (with a separate ticket). If you have any disabilities or support needs we will do our best to accommodate you. Please just drop us an email ahead of time to talk it through.
