Bowl sculpture making, using clay, mixed media & paper. Fun & messy!

Description

Join Nikki for a fun afternoon making trinket bowls - Perfect for holding all your snacks, niknaks or jewellery! We will be using casting materials and modelling air dry-clay. To embellish your bowl we will be decorating the bowls with paper, and using stamping & stencil techniques, ink and a variety of other mixed media techniques with also be used. In other words... anything goes!. The bowls measure approx 12cm wide x 7cm height. * Trinket bowl kits will also be available for you to purchase. This is a very informal, fun and relaxed course enabling you to explore various forms of mixed media and incorporating them into your finished piece. You will go home with one or two bowls. Obviously depending on your speed!

Nikki is an accomplished textile designer. She received a BA Hons from Wimbledon College of Art in Technical Art Interpretation. Her contemporary and multi-media workshops include tuition in a range of innovative techniques and styles. Using an eclectic mix of new and up-cycled materials to create delicate, 3-D works of art. Nikki’s workshops are fun, relaxed and suitable for all abilities.
