"Had a wonderful day on Saturday with Jo at West Country Creative. I made a fabulous silver ring and enjoyed every minute. Jo is a font of knowledge, her purpose built studio is fantastic and she has everything you could possibly need, nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of 1:1 help and tuition with a small group (I was one of 3) and I enjoyed the company of all as we sat and created. I am already planning my next course, as I’ve caught the bug! This was a Christmas present from my husband, I wasn’t sure what to expect, however the day certainly exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend! Thank you Jo! "Jo is an excellent tutor, I had a wonderful day in her beautiful well appointed studio making a lovely sparkle necklace and matching earrings last week. Jo is patient and very thorough in her explanations and provided excellent instructions to take away with me so that I could continue learning at home. She was also happy for me to video some of the more intricate aspects of the jewellery making so that I would have my own reference points to look back on. I cannot recommend Jo highly enough. "I booked a last minute weekend workshop with Jo. I'd wanted to learn how to make silver jewellery for a long time and I was not disappointed. I learnt lots of techniques and was taught in stages of the process which helped. I came away with a ring, earrings and two pendants, one I'm using as a keyring, one as a necklace with other pendants. I thoroughly enjoyed the two days, especially as Jo is a patient and encouraging teacher. Her studio within the grounds of her garden is ideal with lots of light, space and tools. We enjoyed lunch outside in the garden (masks and social distancing of course during this time). In addition, I was able to stay in her B&B which made the experience much more relaxing. Jo's breakfasts are fabulous, very tasty. My room was very comfortable and peaceful. I enjoyed evening meals out at nearby locations. Thank you Jo for helping me enjoy being creative once again and inspiring me to continue. Much appreciated, Louise (Ely, UK)"

"Jo's workshop was just what I needed! I booked the course with 2 other friends pre-lockdown and was so excited to be able to finally go ahead with it. Jo had made changes to her impressive studio to allow for social distancing and ensuring we all felt safe. The surroundings to her studio are beautiful and add to what was a truly relaxing day. It was lovely to be able to shut the world away and be engrossed in learning a completely new skill. Jo was accommodating to all of our requests and very patient as we all worked at varied speeds. She was able to offer her expert advice when needed and guidance and has a wide variety of resources and equipment at hand to use. I feel she should advertise these courses for mindfulness as I left feeling so refreshed and relaxed. If she ever considers a weekend retreat I'm there!"

"A lovely day. both my daughter and I really enjoyed it. a very relaxed atmosphere and beautiful setting. Jo is incredibly kind and helpful. Very well set up studio with everything you need. Jo had done a brilliant job with setting everything up to take into account social distancing with covid-19 and plenty of hand sanitiser/ wipes etc available. we felt very safe. We really enjoyed learning this technique and everyone made some lovely jewellery. My daughter even said that she didn't know it was possible to make such nice jewellery out of polymer clay! this is my 3rd workshop with Jo and i highly recommend her."

"I joined Jo for a course pre-covid and now this one. Jo has spent a lot of time and effort to make us feel comfortable and safe, without losing the personal touch. She is very patient, kind and a good teacher, and she really pays attention to detail, ensuring that the finish is very professional. I created a lovely necklace and earring set, in fact I can't quite believe how nice it is, so I'm really chuffed. In fact the 3 other participants creations were equally lovely. I love the range of colours and and also the range of things Jo can teach you. (I'm booked on two more workshops, so guess I'm hooked!) Thank you Jo, so very much."

"A lovely way to spend the day with two friends. Beautiful calm surroundings and light and airy workshop with all social distancing and health and safety in place. I prefer smaller jewellery and Jo was happy for me to make pendants and earrings instead of a larger necklace. The experience was so relaxing and Jo has a wealth of knowledge and a calm and encouraging nature. Thank you so much we will be back when we can all agree on which workshop to do next!"

It was my first Foray after the Covid 19 lockdown and I was a little concerned about meeting others in a room but I have to say you had that room organised perfectly with plenty of sanitiser and other precautions. I felt very safe. You were an excellent teacher explaining each stage of the process so clearly. There was a vast selection of materials and colours to choose from and supported help when needed. I came away with a lovely necklace, more confidence to mix with others and eager to come again to the studio."
