"This morning I attended Claire’s Silver Clay jewellery course at her home studio and I throughly enjoyed my three hour class and my one to one tuition. Claire is very welcoming and explains everything in a very easy to understand manner and I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted. She supplied coffee and cake as well as excellent information on where and what to purchase to continue this craft myself at home. As a complete beginner I was able to produce three items which I am thrilled with. I can highly recommend this course. Thank you Claire."

"So enjoyed my time learning a new skill with Claire, who shares her knowledge and expertise readily and makes you feel comfortable throughout each process that is involved in silver clay. I've been wanting to try this for a while now and so glad that i had booked! Claire explains everything each step of the way and makes you feel able to accomplish something unique to yourself with special meaning. I had an inkling of what i'd like to make beforehand but since i left my head is buzzing with ideas. Thanks so much Claire and Daisy Dog for making this such an enjoyable step into the unknown and untried.....left with some really lovely pieces as presents for my nearest and dearest! "I contacted Claire via CraftCourses.com after seeing a post for her course on Instagram, as a couture milliner I wanted to explore the relevance that this interesting craft has for my work. We very quickly arranged a 1:1 session - when setting up a mutually convenient date I found Claire very easy and flexible to communicate with. On arrival Claire greeted me warmly, and armed with a cup of tea, seated in her studio we started with the technical explanation of the processes involved in silver clay jewellery. It’s quite an involved process, but Claire is clearly very passionate about her craft, and guided me through the process gently, ensuring I understood everything. Then it was time for the hands on experience, and some three hours later I had three exquisite completed pieces, all finished using slightly different techniques. Once back at home I decided that one of the techniques I had used would enhance further the main piece in my three piece silver clay collection. I contacted Claire again and she offered to finish off my dragonfly for me with the specific polishing technique I had fallen in love with. Imagine my delight yesterday on opening the package and viewed the finished piece which she had kindly worked upon further for me. This dedication confirms again that Claire is very committted to both her craft and her students, and I can only sing her praises. My beautiful silver clay butterfly is now destined to grace one of my new Autumn Collection hats, so I will be looking forward to posting about this on Instagram with a tag for Claire & CraftCourses.com of course!"

"Claire’s class was just great, I enjoyed every minute of it!! Claire made me feel comfortable and relaxed as soon as I got there. She made the instructions simple and straight forward, demonstrating each part of the process and suggesting slightly different methods which might be useful. Claire had lots and lots examples of finished and try-out pieces which were really lovely and gave me loads of ideas for my own stuff! I learnt a lot, met two lovely people, Claire and Trish, had cakes and coffee and left with some beautiful jewellery made by me! Thanks Claire!"

"Lovely relaxed afternoon, I would never have had the courage to try this on my own but Claire was confident and reassuring. I arrived with a rather over ambitious idea in my head and Claire worked with me to produce a lovely unique piece that I will really treasure, even allowing the class to massively overrun so that my piece could be finished in the kiln. Do give this a try, you won't be disappointed."

"Claire was lovely and so informative for it being a beginners class I felt like I gained much more in depth knowledge than I thought I was going to get. Claire went through the process in a methodical easy informative way and I instantly felt at ease. She had lots of pieces to show different techniques to try yourself and a wealth of knowledge to go with this. She supplied me with enough sanding/polishing papers to get my pendants looking lovely at home. She also supplied me with some paper copies of all the information we had discussed and where I could purchase supplies. I would recommend Claire’s classes to any of my friends and family. X"

"My friend and I were interested in doing this course, but we have limited availability owing to work (and other) commitments. Claire was very accommodating and offered a course for just the two of us. We were both totally new to silver clay work, and found the course interesting - it was hands-on and we managed to come away with pieces that we had made and more importantly, that we could actually use. Claire was very friendly, and we enjoyed meeting her dog Daisy, who made us very welcome too! Claire had a lot of equipment for us to use and gave us lots of tips in case we wanted to try using silver clay at home, including written information for us to take away."
