"I booked this course with Claire as a gift for my partner who makes jewellery with sea glass and other materials. After the course she was absolutely buzzing with ideas and very excited to develop her Silverclay skills. The course delivered real practical insights and she came home with 2 amazing quality worked examples. My partner also came away with a complete shopping list of tools and a full method of how to get started as a beginner with Silverclay and pitfalls to avoid. It will certainly save a lot of time and effort in practice materials having invested in expert tuition. She had a great time and was very happy. Would definitely recommend as a gift to someone interested in jewellery making."

"This was a super course. Claire was beautifully organised and everything was prepared and ready. She had lots of lovely examples of jewellery and lots of resources which I could use. Everything was clearly demonstrated and she was great at giving guidance and encouragement to try things. She gave explanations and tips at every stage and I felt I was learning something. Claire was extremely patient and nothing was too much trouble. The time went quickly and I left with a beautiful pair of earrings (that were just me!) and a tiny charm which I am going to gift. "I spent a lovely afternoon exploring Silver Clay, Claire explained the properties of the mixture and the process very clearly. The time went so quickly, I really enjoyed the practical side and it was great to do every bit of the process. I did managed to damage one of my pieces and Claire showed her expertise by fixing it. She showed me what she was doing and it was as good as new when she had finished. Claire is absolutely fab, friendly and very knowledgeable, I would recommend this class to anyone who loves to craft and / or wants to have a 'go' at something inspiring."

"I had an absolutely fantastic day at Claire's silver clay making workshop. I made three pieces of silver jewellery in the space of three hours! Claire was really helpful and very knowledgeable, offering me advice and support along the way but also encouraging my own ideas allowing me to experiment with the tools and techniques. The workshop surroundings are very comfortable and welcoming and I was provided with refreshments throughout the day. Claire also provided me with lots of info and useful links to silver clay websites so I now know the best places to go to buy the tools needed to do silver clay making at home. I will definitely be recommending to workshop to my friends and family. Thanks very much Claire for a great day! I had a ball!"

"Superb course run by Claire learning how to use resin to make lots of different items - I chose baubles. Brilliant set up where Claire talks you through what to do and then you make your own baubles. Printouts provided by Claire to take away to remind you what to do/not to do. Really nice relaxed set up with a lovely cup of coffee and lots of friendly chat. Claire is very patient and is really good at giving tips and advice to you. I've followed up with Claire after the course with lots of 'how do I' type of questions and she's answered them really quickly. I'd really recommend this course if you're looking to start working with resin. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any further courses by Claire. Thanks Claire."

Claire was very thorough with her explanations and taught, making her own piece alongside ours as an example. We produced our own customised pieces, using a variety of techniques, Claire was very knowledgeable and explained the whys and what to look our for along the way, I feel inspired to try this at home and confident I could. It was interesting also to learn of her experiences and interest in other craft mediums and jewellery making too - her workshop is like an Aladdins cave!"
