"Absolutely amazing course! Jo was an amazing teacher/host. We had my hen party at Jo's own home. A first for Jo of such a big group (9 in total, courses are normally 4-6). Which I must add was absolutely gorgeous!! Jo was so welcoming, bubbly, helpful, attentive, warm and friendly. Nothing was too much of a problem. The teas and coffees were continuously flowing, also provided with water, flavoured water and nibbles. The course its self was fun but very informative. We all left knowing there was a lot more to candles than we thought! There was so many beautiful scents to choose from! The products you made you took home. Which was amazing as there was so much and very good quality. Lunch was an amazing spread. Including a gorgeous cake Jo had gotten made for us. I couldn't sum up this course with enough amazing words. It truly was an amazing experience and day. We are already planning to come back soon as we loved it that much! Highly recommended without a doubt! Thanks so much Jo we all absolutely loved the course and you too!"

"Myself and my boyfriend spent a lovely afternoon with Jo. Being complete novices, Jo guided us through the candle making process. We came away with a selection of gorgeous smelling candles, melts and hangings. It was great fun - Mick decided he was going to mix up the scents and surprisingly they smelt fantastic. Jo also treated to a lovely lunch and copious amounts of tea and donuts too! We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend."

"This was an excellent course! Jo is a wonderful teacher with a real infectious passion for her craft. Jo taught us that there is a lot more to candle making than sticking a bit of string in a blob of wax; this is more akin to chemistry and is highly involved. Did you know that that is more than one type and size of wick?!?! I can highly recommend this course, it was really good fun."

"Myself and my husband spent a lovely time with Jo. As complete novices, Jo very patiently guided us through the candle making process and we came away with a selection of gorgeous smelling candles, melts, tealights and hangings. It was so hard to choose from the selection available, but I went with rock salt and driftwood , jasmine and honeysuckle and, my favourite, sweet orange and chili pepper, while my melts were green tea and lemon grass. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend."

"I had a 1-2-1 Workshop with Jo last week and it was the best Workshop I’ve ever attended (and I’ve done a few!) I made a large selection of candles, tealights, melts and Christmas hanging decorations. I was also able to choose a different fragrance for everything I made, so got to try fragrances I wouldn’t normally see in a shop. Jo is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and provided answers to all of my questions and I know she will happily help in the future. If you want an enjoyable treat for yourself or with some friends, you really couldn’t ask for a nicer day - even if all you want out of it is some beautiful smelling candles. Or, you can come away with knowledge to start a business (it purely depends what you are wanting from the experience). I cannot wait until I start practicing my new skills ? Thank you so much Jo xx"

"Have recently been lucky enough to attend a candle making course with Jo and 2 girlfriends of mine - we had such a lovely time - Jo was immediately so warm, welcoming and friendly - we felt we had known her for years. Candle making is very therapeutic, room is full of beautiful smells and while we ate Jo's home made soup you can look out over her garden and into the fields to watch the beautiful highland cattle in the next field - wonderful day. "Where do I start. I have had an amazing day making candles, plus a goody bag of candles that I made. When you see or hear the word “course” you imagine a classroom setting. This could not be further from the truth. Jo welcomes you into her home (which is fab, oh and that view) and immediately you feel at ease. Along with her home she is welcoming, friendly and chatty.The environment is laid back and relaxed.
