"I can't recommend this course enough for anyone who wants to learn the basics of starting a candle company. Not only does Jo know her stuff she also recommends brands, products and tips of the trade. I had no idea how technical working with wax could be however Jo presented a booklet full in information which it great for jotting down extra notes thought out the class. I can't stress enough how informative and interesting I found it. Jo also taught me about the requirements you need to get in order to sell your products. I left the class with no questions unanswered she also was more than happy answer any emails if I had an follow up issues."

"I have wanted to do this course for quite some time and recently attended. The course is aimed at total beginners and really gives a good grounding in how to make candles, wax melts and other decorative wax items. You learn about multiple waxes and Jo gives you a choice of materials so it is bespoke to you and your learning requirements. She has a fantastic range of fragrances to choose from so you can find fragrances that you love or would just like to try. Jo is happy to answer all your questions and talks about the practical side of a candle business including legislation and insurance. I came out feeling confident to explore and develop my own candle brand. I would definitely recommend the course."

"I attended this course after meeting Jo at a Farmer's Market and absolutely loved her candles and scents. Candlemaking has always been something I've been interested to learn more about and Jo's so friendly and approachable (and hilarious), I just knew she would be the right fit for me. The course was brilliant, Jo is so knowledgeable about the craft of candlemaking and so honest about the industry and the challenges and rewards of setting up your own business as well as being very generous with sharing her knowledge. I really enjoyed my day with her, the studio is amazing and the snacks were v. tasty too! I'm hoping to start a little side business, but have put on hold for now as heavily pregnant but I'm VERY excited to read back over my notes and get cracking this summer.
