"There were four of us for the day and we had a wonderful time. Jo explains everything as she goes along and you come home with some really great goodies. Lovely lunch as well. "Such a lovely day! The candle making day was a Christmas present... And we booked just for fun. Jo was very knowledgable and happy to share her expertise and experiences for those wanting to learn the business. I would thoroughly recommend the day to anyone who likes crafts. We made so many candles in all shapes and sizes, which will make good presents, although I'm keeping the 3 wick candle, it's so lovely! Lots of lovely scents to chose from. We were a small group, and I thoroughly enjoyed the day learning a new skill and chatting. We also had lunch, homemade soup which was delicious with bread and some great honey and almond cake, in the cafe downstairs. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Jo in the workshop and Rachel in the cafe. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience."

"My mum and I had a fantastic day learning to make candles with Jo. The workshop is perfectly placed above a lovely tea shop in a beautiful village. Jo is so easy going and friendly that four hours flew by. I would recommend this course to anyone, you will be chuffed to bits with all the candles you'll make and take home."

"Jo is a wonderful tutor and lovely company. So easy to talk to and ask all those questions you need to ask without feeling silly. Covering the regulations side of things is so helpful, but did show me that actually so many people out there who are selling, don't abide by them (scary!) I thoroughly recommend this course if you are thinking of developing your own range as the advice is so helpful and Jo goes the extra mile to give you tips. Came away with some super gorgeous candles which in itself is worth the course price, and the lunch is lovely in the tearoom downstairs - what a lovely team and great day. Treat yourself as you won't regret it!"
