My passion is to help you unlock your creative talents, to help you develop your ideas in transforming and brightening your furniture and home, introduce you to like-minded friends at my welcoming workshops and provide a supportive, relaxed & fun environment in which to learn new skills whilst taking some enjoyable time out of your often busy life. I run FURNITURE PAINTING, UPHOLSTERY and DIY & HOME MAINTENANCE Workshops in Lancashire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester. I look forward to welcoming you to one of my workshops. "Spending a day with Jo at the Boho Shed's furniture painting workshop was wonderfully relaxing and mindful experience. I arrived with a charity shop cheap and cheerful practice piece and came away with something that now takes pride of place in my home. Not to mention bursting with enthusiasm and ideas for allsorts of projects and armed with a whole range of techniques and the hands on experience of applying them. Thank you Jo for your kind and generous teaching, I hope to join you on one of your upholstery courses later in the year."

"I thoroughly enjoyed this furniture painting skills course held at Grappenhall Heys walled garden. It's a great location for the course as it lends to the relaxed nature of the day. Jo expertly covered many different painting techniques, giving us the opportunity to practise some before applying our preferred effects to our own item. I made the mistake of taking along too large a piece to complete in the time so heeding Jo's advice to keep it small is paramount. I would recommend the course to anyone who enjoys upcycling and learning new skills."

"I took this workshop and I had so much fun. I felt safe and comfortable learning DIY and I walked in with absolutely zero knowledge! No question was too silly to ask! It was a great location and space. I also got to go home with delicious cake. Would love to book onto more courses in the future. I’m looking forward to getting started on my DIY journey!! "
