"A really relaxed and enjoyable day and I came away eager to complete the rug I had started in the class. All the materials are extremely good quality and the big balls of blanket wool I bought are a dream to handle. Advice was given individually throughout the setting and it was fun to see different ideas taking shape. we were warned it would be addictive and I absolutely agree"

"Great course, very clear instructions given by Elspeth enabling everyone to produce a sunflower motif on a hessian bag. Personal support and encouragement given throughout. My daughter and I would have been happy to walk away with just the bag, but we were also allowed to start a cushion or rug and given material to get us going or 'hooked' on rag rugging as a hobby. "Thoroughly enjoyed my RagRug Workshop. I haven't done this craft before but at the end of the day had mastered the technique as had all the other ladies. Lorraine the trainer was lovely, really knowledgeable and helpful - it was a fun day and I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys crafts. It makes a marvellous gift. We all came home with a hessian bag which we had decorated and made a start on a rug to complete at home. Loved it."

Whilst i had been looking forward to the day i found that it actually exceeded my expectations.Elspeths teaching was both informative and accessible to i think.like myself new to crafting and those with good experience. Elspeth gave clear instructions which were easy to follow and despite the fact that I was a beginner, thanks to her I now feel competent enough to start my first project. We learnt lots together; three different techniques and time to practise and ask questions.The pack of goodies we were sent included three specialised tools and fabric samples. I started the Sunflower during the class and finished it during the following days. My technique improved and I found it very relaxing. I feel well equipped to move on to rag rug independently."
