I am Tony the owner of Newport Wrought Ironwork . I have been producing bespoke handcrafted ironwork and welded metal products for over thirty years using old and modern techniques . All products are handmade by me at my workshop and I hope to pass on some of the skills I have learned to others .

"Tony put on a very well structured course on MIG welding. I had a small amount of ARC welding experience, and Tony very quickly introduced me to MIG welding, thoroughly going over all the basic techniques. I progressed much quicker that I expected to, and came away very pleased with what I could make. I thoroughly recommend this course for any newcomers to MIG welding."

"I bought the one day MIG course and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tony was very informative explaining the workings of the equipment and lots of do’s and don’ts when looking to buy equipment. When it came to the actual welding he explained and coached very well the techniques. There were opportunities to practice with different welding set ups and sufficient information to go and practice yourself if you had the equipment at home, would highly recommend for someone who is starting or that knows how to weld but wants to improve their techniques."
