I have thoroughly enjoyed spending my Wednesday afternoons learning a new skill from a superb tutor and meeting new people. "I’ve returned to working with Martin on one of his stained glass courses and it’s as good as ever, if not better. The facilities are fantastic and his instruction is second to. none. I’ve enjoyed it so much I’ve booked on next term’s course. My wife has also booked on a one day course to make stained glass flowers. I’d recommended his courses to everybody but don’t all apply as I’ll find it difficult to book on myself"

"I recently completed the 10 week stained glass making course with Martin and it was fantastic. Martin was really clear with the instructions, making is so easy to follow and leave with some wonderful stained glass pieces. He was very supportive throughout making sure everyone was happy with their work and provided the assistance they needed. Martin has stock of glass, solder, lead and more if you wanted to buy materials off him and he has some great recommendations on where to get them from externally. He gives you the creative freedom at end of the course to design your own stained glass and gives practical advice on how to make it happen. I really enjoyed my time on the course and I highly recommend it! I hope to book on again over the winter :) "

"This is the second time that we have done this course. Kate is a great teacher; from teaching the basics of glass cutting and grinding, to applying the foil and soldering. She is very encouraging and reassuring when things don't go to plan. At the same time we could do things at our own pace and make our own creations. I have recommended this day to lots of people. The cafe round the corner is a great place to have a quick lunch. It’s a busy day! "

"A very enjoyable day ! Kate is an excellent tutor who explained everything very clearly and deftly managed the varying experience of each of the group members. She kept us to time and ensured everyone finished what they wanted to make. I already have the necessary equipment at home so now plan to make some more as presents. I have now realised that some of the simpler designs - one piece - are easier and often more effective and elegant. So, I am very pleased with my flowers and a photo sent to friends has received many compliments . Thank you Kate and Martin😀"

We were all very happy with our completed tea light holders and confident about the methods to use at every stage as everything was explained and demonstrated so thoroughly. "I always wanted to try this technique out and I'm glad that I had a chance to do a one day course in it. A very interesting and busy day, Kate is a great and patient teacher. We covered a wide range of topics from glass-cutting from a flower design, foiling, soldering, to fixing stems to flower heads and adding embellishments in wire. I'm happy to be able to add this knowledge to my existing stained glass experience. I would really recommend this course to anyone as a taster of all the main tiffany glass processes and anyone wishing to make beautiful original gifts for friends and family. "

"I had a really good enjoyable day. My first time working with stained glass. The workshop was a Birthday present. Kate is friendly and welcoming. She was brilliant demonstrating each skill as we progressed through the day. She was happy to go over the techniques again ensuring we understood each stage and spent time with us individually providing encouragement and advice. I even managed to produce 4 bits of work which I was really pleased with. Booked in for another course in a couple of months."

"Kate was amazing!! What a really fab fun filled day with so much to learn and experience. Kate made jumping back into the learning process a doddle and so clear with her guidance that everyone picked it up in no time. I had never even cut glass before (broken tonnes by accident!) but by the end I had the most delicate blue bell flowers with embellishments that dazzle when the sun hits them and some stunning pink daisies. I would love to do this again and I think I'm going to invest in her suggested starter kit to have some fun with! You honestly will not regret this course, see it as an investment in your fun!"
