"What a fabulous way to spend a cold, wet Saturday! I really enjoyed this workshop. I had not done anything like it before or used any of the tools. I learnt so much and was super chuffed to have created something so lovely that will get plenty of use - and hopefully be admired! Kate was delightful and explained everything fully at each stage. "This was a fantastic course. We were guided at every step of the process with clear explanations and a demo and supported throughout the day by Kate and Laura with encouragement and plentiful tea! I was actually able to make 9 pieces in the time we had, although 4 is the recommended amount. "I had the BEST time on this one day Traditional Stained Glass workshop. We learned so much. Cutting and grinding glass, laying the lead, soldering.... What an incredible mix of new skills I learned in one day. Martin was a fantastic teacher and made quite a tricky new skill set a fun challenge to conquer. I am so proud of my piece. It'll go pride of place. Highly recommend this course. Definitely coming back to do another "

"I attended Martins course in traditional stained glass making recently along with 7 colleagues associated with our local wood carving club. We were in for a treat, the course was extremely well organised and every every step of the way was explained in a simple and informative style. Martin spent time with each student to ensure that they understood and could carry out the processes safely and easily. We all went home with our personal project and it was unanimously declared a very successful, interesting and happy experience. Martin is a very competent tutor with a great sense of humour and I would thoroughly recommend anyone to try one of his courses."

"Just finished my 5th term and thoroughly enjoying every class. Martin is a very approachable teacher - checking in with everybody throughout the class to make sure we are not going off track! He is always happy to answer questions and help/advise as needed. It’s great to be able to make our own designs in either stained glass or tiffany glass - and seeing what everyone else is doing is inspirational. The studio is always well stocked with wonderful glass to purchase. Thanks Martin - looking forward to next term already!"
