"A wonderfully productive day which I would thoroughly recommend. As a beginner excellent instruction, guidance and advice was given during the day whilst I was able to work at my own pace. Martin gives clear precise instructions in a very well organised workshop with everything you need on hand. Martin is incredibly patient being prepared to repeat demonstrations as many times as needed. I was amazed at the items I was able to make during the day and look forward to returning to do another course."

"Started at Martin's stained glass course in September not as a beginner but I have learnt loads more than I thought I knew. Rebooted for January course. Made dome nice pieces. Loads of new ideas so role on January. Martin is a fab teacher. Patient and demonstrates very well. Good supply of glass to choose from too. Reasonably priced too. ."

"Enjoyable day making stained glass flowers . Kate had time for every individual as well as the group with help, advice and ideas. The day was well structured with Kate demonstrating tasks and methods then allowing time for completion by the group before the next process was explained. I would highly recommend this course for both those who have no experience of glass work and those who have some. Following this course I will be making more Tiffany flower pieces, the variety is only limited by one’s imagination. "

"I really enjoyed this workshop, I hadn’t done any stained glass work before but Martin gave clear instructions and demonstrated what we needed to do, it was a very relaxing environment to be in, help was on hand if needed and there’s a lovely cafe in the adjoining building, I’ll definitely be returning to learn more about glass crafts, thank you so much!"

"Excellent tuition from Kate, explaining the basics of glass cutting and health and safety aspects. There was lots of scrap glass to choose from and we could choose from a template or could make our own design. Kate was very attentive throughout giving good advice, and the number of attendees was appropriate. The workshop was very well organised and we were advised on how to use all the tools and equipment. I would do it again, only wish it wasn't so far away."

"An excellent course with very good facilities in the workshop. Martin's method of teaching where he demonstrates the craft in small chunks before you try it for yourself, worked very well. "Brilliant day spent learning how to create a stained glass panel. Great tuition as needed, always around to advise when needed, but lots of opportunity to just get stuck in and have a go with the techniques. "Just spent a fantastic day making traditional stained glass with my husband and grown-up daughter. We had expert tuition from Martin, who added new techniques at appropriate points during the day, so we could progress at our own pace and not get overwhelmed with too much information. The equipment kits were great, and the choice of glass to use in the well-thought-out designs was wonderful. I would highly recommend this workshop as a lovely, way to spend a day."

"Sunday’s Traditional Stained Glass Workshop was incredible - Martin’s teaching is obviously honed by years of experience and was presented in bite-size pieces which meant the day wasn’t overwhelming and you really felt as if you could (and would!) create something to be proud of. As the day progressed, Martin made sure to go round the class ‘checking in’ and was always available to answer any questions, show you how to do something you didn’t understand, and offer guidance and advice (all with infinite patience!) There was a selection of patterns to choose from - not so many to be overwhelming but a selection that meant there was something for everyone’s taste. Choosing the glass, however, was a different matter - so many colours and textures! The day was fabulous value for money (let’s face it, that’s an important factor) - everything you would need is part of the cost (not to mention the constant supply of coffee!), the location is incredible, the workspace is the space of dreams … oh, and the teaching is second to none! Whether you have experience with glass, or are just dipping your toe in the water, I can highly recommend these workshops - don’t be afraid, give it a go and I promise you will be hooked!"
