"I had the most fantastic day lino printing with Lee in his beautiful studio in the Brecon Beacons. We were a small group so Lee gave each of us personal attention to guide us through the process. We each created a3 prints in a day and I think we were all blown away by what we achieved, whilst having so much fun. I can’t wait for the next time!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed Lee’s oil painting course and learned so much! The canvas Lee provided was luxurious, (he makes them himself) a pleasure to paint on. Lee is a brilliant teacher, has a natural ability in explaining techniques etc. I never thought I could learn so much about painting a portrait in oils in such a short time space. Another important thing for me is confidence; I arrived with no confidence in my ability as a portrait painter at all. Because of Lee’s teaching skills, I now feel confident in my ability moving forward. I found it exciting learning to paint using traditional methods. The academy itself is a lovely place to be. Seeing Lee & Lucy’s paintings on the wall was inspirational. The atmosphere was relaxed and our modals were amazing, thank you Dave and Bev. My fellow students were lovely too and I had a great week altogether. Will definitely attend courses in the future. Thank you Lee, thank you Academy, I highly recommend you. "

"I really enjoyed my first time doing Reduction Lino Printing, Lee is a very good teacher particularly as it is quite a complex process. He taught me a lot about mixing the right colours and applying 3 colours in one roll, very effective after 3 prints. He very gently mentors you and recommends solutions for everything. To work surrounded by his prints is very inspirational. I enjoyed my day and as I am lucky enough to be local I shall be back to do more. Thank you Lee."

He is a great artist himself, and the studio was large and very inspiring, fully equipped with all sorts of prints, presses, and other artists media. All four of us managed to print fabulous prints, and the tools and materials provided were of the highest quality. The whole experience was intense, humorous and creative. "

"Lee is not only a lovely guy, patient and easy company, he is also an incredibly talented artist. Considering how short a time he has been doing lino printing, his work is accurate, clever and inspiring so I always felt in good hands. The workshop is beautiful - an old school house which has been filled with incredible paintings. The printing room at the back of the school had a log fire which Lee tended to to keep us cosy. It was a fantastic day, I think everyone should do it!"

"My partner bought me a place on Lee's Reduction Linocut printing course for my birthday as it is a technique I wanted to learn. I had a brilliant day in the studio with two other students and worked to produce my first 3 layer print. Lee is a great teacher, friendly and patient, and I thoroughly enjoyed my day.
