Ivan Grove reviewed: Fearless Drawing. Learn to draw in a fun way.

"I am a complete novice so the fearless drawing title got my attention. This is not a 'how to draw shapes' course' , it's a get the pencils out try these different approaches course. It was a good friendly atmosphere, in a small group, with encouragement and positive comments. I have not become an artist overnight but I now feel confident to try and not be worried about the result, practice will improve my work and the techniques will help me as I progress."

"Laura’s Abstract Acrylics one day course was fabulous! I had already enjoyed her Colour Loves Colour day, and was excited to try to develop some abstract techniques. Laura is a font of knowledge and is very generous with sharing her skills around what works successfully to make an abstract design. She has a relaxed and engaging personality and teaching technique, and encourages even the most unconfident student to produce work that has positive aspects to it. All materials are provided. Julia reviewed: Colour loves colour. Acrylic painting.

"A very enjoyable day with Laura, mixing, playing with colour and putting our new knowledge into practical use. I particularly liked the bias towards abstraction, and although I didn’t manage to develop this aspect as far as I’d like to during the class, Laura gave us lots of tips and information which I’ll be working on when painting at home. "

"Enjoyed my two day oil paint course with Laura at the lovely Ferrers Art Centre. Laura gives a brief overview then allows students to delve into the work themselves. All materials are provided and I thought the course price very reasonable. Lovely cafe and deli on site so a very pleasant experience and place to paint."

"I attended Laura's Colour Loves Colour Abstract Acrylic Painting workshop at her Studio - what a fantastic experience! I'm a complete beginner, and Laura worked with us to create some fab paintings, and teach us lots of really useful techniques and tricks! All of the paint and equipment was supplied, with plenty of tea and coffee provided throughout :-) Laura has a wonderful spirit and is very passionate about art and it made me feel very relaxed - it was an incredibly relaxing day (in beautiful surroundings too!) I would HIGHLY recommend this course. THANK YOU Laura! xxx"

"If I could give 10 ⭐️ I would. The course was absolutely brilliant. Laura was an enthusiastic, friendly, patient tutor and the studio is a delight to work in. I have no experience in any sort of painting but this didn’t matter in the slightest. It was well worth the money and I’ve already booked onto another course. I LOVED IT. "
