I am a Contemporary Felt Artist living and working in the Midlands. I create vibrantly colourful textile pictures, hand crafted using traditional felting techniques, combined with free machine embroidery and hand stitching. In my pictures I use a combination of wet felting, needle felting, free machine embroidery and hand embroidery to create impressionist style paintings.

"I had a fabulous afternoon! As a total beginner, didn't really know what to expect. Karen was really approachable and encouraging throughout (she also made us the most amazing cake!). She explained every stage of the process, provided some lovely photos for inspiration, and a lovely range of wool colours. I am delighted with what I have made, and look forward to embellishing it at home. I would thoroughly recommend this course."

Lots of beautiful wool colours to choose from enabling you to create any picture you could imagine. I would highly recommend this class and look forward to taking another class next year with Karen. "What a wonderful course to have a go at. I’ve never done wet felting before and didn’t really know what to expect. Had a really enjoyable time with Karen who is a lovely tutor and who makes a terrific orange cake to eat at coffee break. I am thrilled with my picture and will attempt to embellish it further before framing it! This is a course well worth going on and is good value for money. I hope to come again to have another go"
