"I had a fabulous afternoon! As a total beginner, didn't really know what to expect. Karen was really approachable and encouraging throughout (she also made us the most amazing cake!). She explained every stage of the process, provided some lovely photos for inspiration, and a lovely range of wool colours. I am delighted with what I have made, and look forward to embellishing it at home. I would thoroughly recommend this course."

"What a wonderful course to have a go at. I’ve never done wet felting before and didn’t really know what to expect. Had a really enjoyable time with Karen who is a lovely tutor and who makes a terrific orange cake to eat at coffee break. I am thrilled with my picture and will attempt to embellish it further before framing it! This is a course well worth going on and is good value for money. I hope to come again to have another go"

"If you like wool and making pictures or just want to experience something new this workshop is a really lovely way to spend an afternoon making a picture from beautiful coloured silky soft wool and turning it into felt . Karen is an excellent instructor and because the class is small you get maximum help and encouragement. I have done 2 workshops and have booked on the advanced workshop to learn more."

"Really enjoyed the felted soap course with Karen. It was a really pleasant two hours to focus on something else which wasn't too difficult to get the hang of under Karen's clear instructions. The venue was in a good location and well-suited to the session; keeping the group small (8) was really nice too as it was easy for us all to chat as we worked. The session was well-structured with a break for tea and delicious home-made cake mid-way, and we came away with two lovely felted soaps. I bought several kits for family members as well. Thank you for a lovely afternoon Karen!"

The venue is brilliant, easy to find and very light and airy with plenty of free parking. The groups are small which means Karen was able to help us each individually. Karen is very skilled in her craft and happy to share this knowledge with you to create a masterpiece of your own :) A brilliant afternoon Karen, thank you (and fabulous cake..yum!) "really enjoyed this craft workshop - not difficult at all but very rewarding to come out with 2 lovely felted soaps and the knowledge of how to make more. Merino wool is so soft and smooth it was very soothing to gently roll the soap around in your hands. And the cake was amazing!!"

"Karen kindly allowed my 10-year-old daughter to join this small course and it was wonderful. She is a brilliant teacher, has just the right balance between teaching technique and encouraging artistic decision making, and she really inspired my daughter, who left the course very proud of her beautiful piece of art - her first wet felting and something genuinely to be very proud of. The venue is perfect - easy to find and of a very high quality, and a lovely cafe and nature walk around too. Re Covid it just felt perfect - safe, sensible with just a small number of participants and a lovely airy room. Couldn't have asked for more!"
