Welcome 😃 I'm Jo Garden. I call myself a 'facilitator' as my joy is enabling people of any skill to achieve something they did not expect, plus have time away from the everyday stresses of normal life. My sculpture & slate mosaic workshops are broken down into small stages which result in amazing sculptures and works of art regardless of your artistic ability (honestly). If you purchase a kit, there is a full length video of me making the sculpture which you can watch as many times as you wish. If attending a workshop, my peaceful studio is tucked into the garden surrounded by trees and wildlife making it a very tranquil and stress busting. I run several workshops a month but am often booked up for months in advance. If you book a long way in the future, I do make contact if I have cancellations and can move you forward. "In all honesty I was quite nervous about the hare sculpture day as I am not artistic at all but I shouldn't have worried! Had a fab day, Jo is so encouraging and gives very straightforward and sensible instructions and demonstrations to guide you - would thoughly recommend and you go home with a gorgeous hare - you honestly can't go wrong!"

"The second time I have visited Jo’s hare sculpture workshop day, the first with a friend, the second with my mum, what a wonderful day with an incredible facilitator as Jo calls herself. Jo is so much more than that, a truly lovely, kind and inspiring lady who really cares everyone comes away with a sculpture that is the very best of their creative self. Jo and her husband give you a very warm welcome into their home and studio, along with their two very friendly dogs. It’s natural to have some reservations about the day, especially if you have never attempted any sculpture work or anything particularly creative in the past but these reservations quickly disappear with Jo’s friendly and fun tuition. I would highly recommend a day creating a hare sculpture with Jo in her peaceful and inspiring studio. "
