"My son and I went along with absolutely no experience of jewellery making. We both had a fabulous time, I created a necklace and my son created a ring. Julie was relaxed and helpful throughout the whole session and we were both thrilled with our creations. My son really enjoyed the cake Julie had made (I was being good and resisted!). "A fabulous course! We chose this activity for our silver wedding anniversary and thought that making silver rings would be the perfect thing to do on our special day. We had a lovely time and Julie was very welcoming and explained everything in detail. She was very patient and took time to listen to what we wanted to achieve and helped us through the session with careful demonstrations but let us make the pieces completely ourselves, gently guiding us through the process. We stopped for coffee and cake about half way through, which was a nice touch and gave us more time to chat and get to know Julie too. The studio was well equipped and we learnt the different techniques and methods to use when making rings. All in all a great time had by both of us and we not only have special memories of our silver wedding anniversary but lovely handmade rings too. Thank you again! I am now recommending you to all our friends and family ! "

"I gave the course to a friend for a birthday gift and I went too!! It was well planned and a relaxing experience. We enjoyed making and designing our items (earrings and a bracelet). "We had a great time doing the silver jewellery workshop with my partner. We both decided to make rings. Julie was patient with my 'creative process' meaning a bit more testing. We ended up working at different pace but Julie accommodated that with no issue. She was also happy to answer questions about the process or suppliers, as we were interested on carrying on as a hobby. I would recommend :)"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my silver ring jewellery making session with Julie yesterday. Her workshop is comprehensively equipped. Her artistic flair and eye for design proved inspiring for me. I had an idea of the silver band rings I wanted to create. By the end of my 3 hours class, I was wearing 3 utterly unique and crafted silver rings; all very different and looked most eye catching. I have plans to return to create simple silver bangles to replace some that had been lost from a family keepsake of wedding bangles. I highly recommend Julie’s jewellery workshop. You will have a fabulous creative experience. In conclusion, the chocolate brownie on offer during a short break added to the delights of my workshop. "

"Had a wonderful workshop with Julie - I went along with an earring design in mind and she was able to help me find a way to bring it to life. I got to do actual silversmithing and use resources I’ve never been able to before (hammering, soldering, etc) which was fantastic and really exciting. It was so good to be able to create beautiful earrings which look the way I envisioned them. Most importantly, Julie had such a lovely manner, a genuine warmth and so much passion that shines through - she’s a brilliant teacher. She also makes heavenly chocolate brownies, so say ‘yes’ to the yummy snacks being offered so you get to enjoy those brownies :D All in all, a fantastic experience that I thoroughly recommend! "
