"I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop which was like a breath of fresh air. It was relaxed and fun but also informative and taught me a lot about using different fabrics to create a picture using only scissors and a sewing machine. It was very satisfying to leave with a piece of work that was almost complete and I now feel much more confident in experimenting further at home. Imogen is a very supportive teacher and guided me through the process, offering suggestions when needed. We also had a delicious lunch! If you like playing around with fabrics you will enjoy this. I will definitely be making a return visit."

She helped me to create my ‘masterpiece’ with my limited sewing and artistic skills - truly amazing! "This was a truly inspirational one - day textile landscape course . Having dabbled with various aspects of art and crafts, I was looking for something completely different. This course certainly delivered. Imogen has a wealth of experience and skills which she passes on in a friendly informal way. Definitely the kickstart I needed to reboot my enthusiasm. "Basic still life drawing tecniques shown with a view to translating them into textiles but without the need of previous skills in this area. A really informative day where students work on individual themes at their own pace helped where necessary by Imogen who will also encourage you to maybe try things outside of your comfort zone. A pressure free day made even more enjoyable by unlimited coffee,cake and a delicious homemade lunch. I would recommend this course as a way to develop your use of colour and design skills."
