"We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Hollie. We both have spinning wheels but no real idea of how to use them. Hollie explained what we should do then let us try, adding extra information and advice when she spotted we needed it. She was unfailingly patient and encouraging, and we both came away knowing what to do next. A fantastic day!"

"This day course was amazing. She is a brilliant and very patient tutor. She took me through everything to do with spinning, fleeces, equipment, accessories, spinnable fibres and more. I would recommend Hollie to anyone interested in learning to spin. I even managed to finish with a Hank-albeit lumpy and stronger! I’m told this is art yarn! A brilliant day all round and would love to do a follow up day"

"If you are interested in this craft don’t hesitate to sign up, you won’t regret it. Hollie is an excellent and patient teacher. She is passionate about what she does and nothing is too much trouble. The day went really quickly and it’s very hands on using an Ashford wheel and wool is provided. Thank you Hollie for a great informative hands on course."

"Hollie is a brilliant tutor! I learned so much in this workshop, from advice about what type of fleece to start spinning with, right the way through to skeining the yarn I had spun that day. Hollie was wonderfully patient, explained things clearly and happily answered all my many (many!) questions. She was excellent company throughout the day, I had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I would definitely advise anyone wanting to learn to spin to join Hollie for one of her workshops, they are well worth it."

I'm really pleased with my finished yarn (and can see an improvement from the beginning to the end), and am already looking into buying my own wheel."
