"Fantastic course. Me and my mates from work (also play games online) all finally decided to get off our computers and do something together that was physical and creative and we all decided on blacksmithing. This was definitely a great course for a day and learnt so much. We were really happy with what we created at the end of the day and proud to have something we all forged from very hot metal! We felt very welcome and in safe hands, we couldn't of asked for a greater host and hospitality. Would definitely recommend for people who want a great day out and create something to remember. "

"I booked this course for myself and my husband for his birthday and we both had such a great day! The instructors are patient and knowledgeable and clearly have years of experience. Everyone was really down to earth and encouraging. Found it a little difficult to find the place so was a little late starting but there were no issues with this and we got through making a knife each throughout the day. As someone who values experienced over things, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Great day out to experience something new with a memorable item to bring home with you! Just a bit of advice for anyone booking, make sure to dress warm if you are going in winter! It can get a little cold in the workshop when not stood directly next to the fire. All in all I'm completely happy with the day and would definitely come back in the future!"

"Such a fantastic and highly rewarding experience! I had the 3 day Damascus knife making course gifted as a 40th birthday surprise. What a gift it was!! The instruction and help you get from Gary and Joss is second to none. They are two highly skilled craftsmen and their love for what they do comes across whilst they guide you through the process of making the knife. They are both super easy to get on with whilst giving the support needed to suit your ability. The processes are well explained in a way where your comfortable doing the work yourself but they were always on hand to offer support whenever I was struggling. I highly recommend this course!"
