"I booked this course for myself and my husband for his birthday and we both had such a great day! The instructors are patient and knowledgeable and clearly have years of experience. Everyone was really down to earth and encouraging. Found it a little difficult to find the place so was a little late starting but there were no issues with this and we got through making a knife each throughout the day. As someone who values experienced over things, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Great day out to experience something new with a memorable item to bring home with you! Just a bit of advice for anyone booking, make sure to dress warm if you are going in winter! It can get a little cold in the workshop when not stood directly next to the fire. All in all I'm completely happy with the day and would definitely come back in the future!"

"Such a fantastic and highly rewarding experience! I had the 3 day Damascus knife making course gifted as a 40th birthday surprise. What a gift it was!! The instruction and help you get from Gary and Joss is second to none. They are two highly skilled craftsmen and their love for what they do comes across whilst they guide you through the process of making the knife. They are both super easy to get on with whilst giving the support needed to suit your ability. The processes are well explained in a way where your comfortable doing the work yourself but they were always on hand to offer support whenever I was struggling. I highly recommend this course!"

"After reading the good reviews the long journey from the Highlands was well worth it, I did the one day course with Gary and can’t thank him enough for his patience and you can tell he loves his job as his enthusiasm and his encouragement is passed on through his teaching. I was over the moon to go home with a beautiful rose that sat in a vase which was on a wee stand with a handle, I am so proud of it and will be back for 2 day course soon.
