"Oh my gosh. Just spent an amazing full day workshop with Barbara. Made an 8inch needle felted doll, a fairy for my husbands memorial. Learnt so much, needed the full day as it was so relaxing and learnt so much more than I thought. Tried kits before but never understood the tips and tricks that Barbara shared with me. "Great day with Barbara - making my beautiful Nuno silk and felt scarf. I really did not expect to be able to make something so beautiful - particularly since I was a first time felter. A lovely day with my sister - working together on our projects - I can highly recommend the course - we will be back to do another scarf or maybe have a go at Batik next time, We were really looked after by Barbara - she is so patient and helpful - and makes a lovely vegetable soup! Great value for money - a full day of activity, plus tutoring , plus lunch and a beautiful handmade one-off scarf - fab!"

"We had a great day creating a bag using the wet felting technique with Barbara. The course is well structured and gives you plenty of range to experiment with colours and designs. Barbara is very easy to get along with and provides clear information. We came away from the day with a great bag and ideas to use the technique again. Lunch is also provided, alongside all materials and the course tuition, so it makes the course good value for money. We hope to return for the needle felting course in the not too distant future."

"Never having done anything like this before I was a bit nervous but Barbara quickly put me at my ease and assured me that by the end of the morning I would have a little creature to take home. After two hours of expert tuition and a few laughs along the way I left with my first needle felt creation: a cute penguin! I'm now all fired up to start on next year's Christmas tree decorations and am fully intending to go to another of Barbara's workshops very soon."

"My friend and I spent a day with Barbara making our creations; my friend made a gorgeous Jemima Puddleduck and I made a Hare. We had a lovely day. Barbara is a relaxed and kind person who generously shares her expertise in a really humble way. She made us both feel comfortable and embraced the quirkiness of our creations. Indeed, we both loved that she did not try to 'fix' what we had done, but allowed our work to be just that: our work. We had an absolutely lovely day and would thoroughly recommend her courses."

"I spent a wonderful day with Barbara learning the techniques for making a bag. I’d done some wet-felting before, having taught myself from books, but was lacking inspiration for what to do with the pieces when finished. Barbara is patient, encouraging, informative & incredibly generous with her ideas. There were four of us on the day, all doing something different & we all had lots of one-to-one help. I came away with a really nice bag & lots of confidence & the inspiration I needed to carry on this amazing craft. Barbara opened my eyes to the endless creative possibilities of felting & I will definitely be going back for more workshops - I can’t wait. Eileen"
