"Nicky was a kind and thoughtful tutor, and we learned a huge amount about glass and creating designs. This workshop really encouraged us to make any shape or subject we wanted - there was no sense that everyone in the small group had to make the same thing. The location in a blossom-filled orchard was a bonus - a very peaceful and restoring day."

"Myself and my girlfriend attended the half day course but we got so engaged that we ended up paying for the full day! Nicky was very friendly and hospitable. "Booked 1/2 day glass fusion workshop with Nicky really last minute, she was so quick to respond and provided all the information needed. The workshop was just what we were looking for and Nicky offered lots of great advice and tips when making our designs. There were lots of options and styles to choose from. "I arranged for my wife to attend this as a birthday present for her and she absolutely loved it. Nicky was patient, accommodating and very friendly throughout. My wife is a very creative person and was very impressed at how much Nicky was able to let her bring out that creativity in such a short time. In the end she created a piece that she was very pleased with, despite never having heard of glass fusion before and is very keen to go back and give it another go. "

"My friend and I had a wonderful day creating our glass designs. Nicky was very good at knowing just how much help we needed after taking us through the basics. There were so many options in terms of what we could make, and having started the day not having a clue what I would do I am now excited to see the finished product. I would definitely recommend this course to anybody wanting a relaxed creative crafty day."

"What an amazing day. Nicky even cancelled her day off to accommodate us at short notice. After the talk explaining how to use the tools, types of glass and what we needed to do, we were off... and away we went, creating our pieces of work, scoring, cutting and shaping the glass, and filing in the gaps with other smaller fragments of glass and glass sprinkles (frits). We made 3 pieces each (2 smaller ones and a big one) and along with Nicky's superb knowledge and guidance were pleased with our results at the end of the day and can't wait to see them after they have been in the kiln. We both had a beautiful relaxing day, sat in comfortable surroundings in a well stocked studio and would highly recommend the course. Thank you for all help Nicky. Hope to see you again in the future."
