Half day glass fusing for beginners/intermediate

Description

In this half day (3 hour) course you will learn the basics of glass fusing. You can expect to make two coasters size pieces 10cm x 10cm..or 4 small decorations...alternatively you may have one single idea you may like to try and make (size limit is approx 15x15 or 17cm x 12cm for wall hangings/decorations etc ..the choice is up to you! Based in a lovely semi rural setting just outside Reading, I run small workshops with a maximum of 4 people which means you will receive lots of individual tuition. No previous experience is necessary for you to be able to achieve great results! I graduated from Brunel university with a first class honours degree and am a practicing glass artist selling and exhibiting my work, I've also worked in the art department of a busy secondary school so I've plenty of experience in both the Arts and educational field. Classes are adapted to suit individuals and there is plenty of scope for individuality ...so you can arrive with your own ideas or alternatively I have projects already set up for those who would prefer to work that way.

What's included in the price?

All materials and firing is included. Work can be collected within 2 weeks or delivered for a small surcharge. You will need to wear sturdy, closed toe shoes. Tea, coffee, biscuits are provided throughout the day.
