"Hi Julie, a big thank you from myself and daughters Jackie and Liz who had the pleasure of joining your candle making course on July 20th. Your welcome was so warm and friendly, putting everyone at ease, felt I had known you for ages! The thought, details, and little extras that Julie puts into it all is outstanding. "I attended this course with my mum and sister and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Jools was an excellent teacher - she is friendly, funny and approachable. We learnt how to make several different candles and we took everything we had made home in lovely packaging. The afternoon tea was wonderful - there was lots of it and it was delicious - thank you Janet! I cannot recommend this course enough - it was a lovely day out and we are all keen to book another course. Thanks also to Ian who very kindly took us the train station at the end of a superb day!"

"Can I just say I've enjoyed my first candle making experience so much, an absolutely fantastic venue and first class hospitality. But wouldn't expect anything less from Julie and Janet who have a lovely Yorkshire welcome. On the course today we had a giggle and thoroughly great time. Would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to have a great day out and learning the skill of how to make candles. Fantastic value for money . "We attended the course on Saturday 8 June, 2019. We had had to cancel the one we were initially booked on in May due to illness but Jools kindly swapped us to a later date. The venue was very easy to find, the cottage was absolutely lovely - a fantastic place to do all that Jools and Janet do. Jools and Janet really friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they shared their ideas and experience. The learning opportunity was fantastic - lots of information and hands on experience and you got to keep the candles and wax melts that you made. Everyone really friendly, a relaxed and informal environment and quite therapeutic. We had a lovely afternoon tea served to us. All in all, I would strongly recommend this course. Absolute value for money and had a great time."

"Had a fabulous day at Crafters Cottage with Julie and Judith learning to make candles with my best friend. The venue in Honley is beautiful and quirky and we were warmly welcomed on arrival. Julie is a friendly, patient and informative teacher - she shares lots of tips about the production process and details on how to purchase your own materials plus things to consider if you plan to create a small business. Afternoon tea was delicious and a lovely touch to break up the learning process - we even had time to pop next door to a little clothes shop in the break. Overall, an enjoyable and good value for money course. Thanks Julie and Judith for a wonderful, care-free day."

"The course was a birthday present from my daughter Rosanna, and its one of the best presents in my long life. Julie welcomed us and we were soon making soaps, body butters and all the other lovely products. Julie was very generous with her knowledge and her time and was totally focused on making the day an interesting and productive one, whilst it was still relaxing and fun. We also enjoyed wonderful food at lunchtime and came home with some wonderful products. "Had an amazing day at this workshop. We made a lot of different things. Soap, body butter, bath salts, body scrub, lip scrub and bath bombs. Julie who ran the course was fantastic, helping us experiment with different scents and ingredients. The course was very informative and a lot of fun. I can't wait to get experimenting at home. The day included afternoon tea which was great. It was an intimate group which was nice as you could mingle with the rest of the group and chat about what each of you are doing. All in all the day was great, worth every penny."
