Jools is really organised, patient, friendly and knowledgeable about her subject and we all came away with a great selection of candles and melts which smell amazing. It is a good course either just for a days’ experience or for anyone thinking of going on to make candles to sell as Jools is very generous with her information and encouragement."

"What a beautiful day, Had the best time at crafters cottage making soaps and natural body care products. Julie and Jools were so welcoming and I had the best day ever and I did what I was dreaming for. Julie was very knowledgeable, helpful and the way she taught was amazing. It was a very fun and interesting workshop and also full of handy tips and information we need to take at home. I had the best experience. I was away from my 6 month baby and it was worth it. "We had an incredible time learning about soap making. Julie was a fantastic teacher and was very patient with all of us as we made our own soaps. The experience is great and I'd really recommend this for anyone interested - it's a great introduction. The lunchtime food was also lovely and thoughtful. "

"Loved the course. Relaxed, informative, lots of choices on fragrances etc and opportunities to try making different types of candles, melts and fragrance bars. Lunch was lovely and the whole day was just good fun!"

"What a lovely day! Had the best time at crafters cottage making soaps and natural body care products. Julie and Janet were so welcoming and lovely. Julie was very knowledgeable and led the workshop in a really fun and interesting way but also full of handy tips and information we needed to know if we wanted to make our own products afterwards. It was great that we were in a group of 8 which meant that we made some really nice connections with each other but also small enough to be able to ask Julia any questions we needed to. A really lovely day that I would thoroughly recommend! "

"This was such a fun course, honestly had the best time ever. Attended with a friend as a part of her surprise birthday treat and she loved it. We got to make and take home so many goodies; I’ve gave mine to some of my family members who love the products. The afternoon tea provided was divine! My only complaint is that we have to walk through the shop which is full of goodies and I couldn’t help splurge on the amazing products they had! Went home with too many shopping bags!! Haha, thanks so much for an amazing time. 10/10 defo recommend!"

"I received this cold process making course as a Christmas gift and what a fabulous gift this was. Julie’s course was well thought out, personal and a lovely way of spending a rainy morning. The whole process was explained and demonstrated, with support given throughout your own practical time. Julie shared some excellent top tips, and showed us how to finish our creations with beautifully simple packaging. The afternoon tea was simply divine and there was some left over to take home. I’d highly recommend any of the courses Julie provides as she shows you how to learn a new skill in such a supportive and fun way. We had lots of laughter and found a creative way to spend a rainy day."

"Hello, l had a wonderful experience at this course, l really enjoyed it me and my daughter, she wouldn't stop telling me what a lovely time she had. The lunch was amazing we ate our belly full, lol but otherwise the course was totally worth it. Jools was very funny, she takes her time with you she goes through it over and over. "A very enjoyable day spent with 5 strangers, two friends and one tutor. We learnt so many things connected to successful candle making through the expertise and knowledge of our friendly tutor. The time went so quickly but it slowed down to eat our picnic tea and then off we went candle making again. We finished the course as new friends and very proud owners of our candles."

"My daughter and I attended the Candle Making course on 31st July and really enjoyed it. What a lovely, friendly atmosphere and a perfect setting. Julie is a great teacher. There were clear and easy to follow demonstrations and we're over the moon with our makes. Afternoon tea was provided and was good. Also thanks to Janet who was assisting Julie. "Loved this class. Julie supplied everything we needed to make beautiful candles and melts, including dried flowers, glitter and scents. Had a lovely, relaxed few hours and copious amounts of tea (we were all tea bellies) from Jane (Julie's lovely assistant). Lunch was a lovely picnic box which included sandwiches, cake, savoury biscuits, yogurts, fresh fruit and fruit tarlets plus bottled water..... and more tea!! Would definitely recommend this course, not just for those wishing to start their own business but also those of us that just want to create candles and melts for family and friends - and ourselves."
