"I spotted one of Charlie’s barn owls late on night driving home through Wales. The car came to an emergency stop ✋🏿 I could have sworn that it was real !!! I got as far as about 5 cm away (with some serious trepidation ) before realising it was carved out of wood.
‘Sam’ is now sitting in my garden, keeping a look out over the garden and mountains beyond.
I love him to bits. Best £175 I ever spent.
I’m now staying in touch with Charlie (and his lovely warm wife Meg) because when I went bank to enquire about buying an owl the following day, I spotted a number of equally enchanting sculptures dotted around in Charlie’s barn…
