I am an artist and printmaker deeply inspired by nature and the ever-changing seasons. Currently, my work is focused on exploring the Porter Valley, with particular attention to its woodlands and the flowing river that shapes the landscape.
Teaching plays a vital role in supporting my creative practice, providing me with the opportunity to share my passion for printmaking with others.
From my ground-floor art studio in Greystones, I am thrilled to offer my expertise in relief, intaglio, and planographic printmaking techniques, fostering creativity and skill in those eager to learn.
"This was an excellent course for beginners. Aprille explained about all the tools and other equipment required, and set up an achievable project as an introduction for novices in the craft of lino cutting and printing. She also gave us lots of tips and hacks, from her extensive professional experience in this medium. Everyone came out with a good result. Her studio is comfortable and inviting and was an accessible venue, being on the ground floor. The course was good value for money and very enjoyable."
