With around 30 years experience of training people and working in conservation with trees and green wood work, you will be sure to learn more than just the basics of spoon carving and whittling. Having learnt the professional and safe carving techniques from some of the best out there, I will pass on these skills so that you can also carve safely and with confidence at home, or improve on your technique.
"I had a great afternoon carving my first spoon with Alan. It was at a good pace, and he was really supportive and helpful. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. I'd recommend this experience to anyone else who would like to create something or try a new skill. "
"Alan kindly put on a course for our 3 x 7 year old boys, we all really enjoyed ourselves. The boys made a butter knife and were able to practice their whittling skills on various bits of wood. "
"A wonderful day learning new skills and conversing in a small group
Thank you
