"I signed myself up for the Beginners course as I've always wanted to get back in to sewing and making my own clothes. The teachers were great, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is really calming and relaxing and the venue had everything I need to start me off. Will definitely be going back for more sessions! :)"

"I loved the classes - teacher Laura was very positive, patient and lighthearted. The venue is nice and bright - well organised and felt homely. I was really pleased with the bag I made and have already used the downloadable instructions to make another one at home! Although you don't need a machine in the classes, I used their ones. I really recommend these classes - excellent school. Looking forward to coming to the making Clothes from Patterns course next!"

"Myself and 4 friends attended a half-day version of the workshop and we all had an absolutely fantastic time! Diane is a brilliant teacher and explained everything very clearly and patiently. We were all proud and quite amazed with what we were able to achieve in just 3 hours, being complete novices. What better way to spend quality time with friends than learning something new together and creating beautiful pieces of jewellery to remember the day by. I think we've all got the bug and will be back again! Thanks Diane for making the workshop so fun and enjoyable!"

She demonstrates and explains techniques clearly using copper and you end the course producing lovely silver earrings, pendants or rings, of your own design with her expert guidance. "What a fabulous weekend! The 2 day course introduces tools and techniques I, for one, had certainly never heard of. To end the course with a piece of furniture we now use at home is more than I could have hoped for. Peter's (and Cath's) calm, quiet instruction and friendly encouragement throughout the weekend was brilliant. Already looking at the Build a Shave Horse course! I simply cannot recommend this course highly enough - go if you can!"

"Just come back from having done this course and had a fabulous time. Richard and Mark are great teachers. They are generous in passing on their experience and letting us in on their woodworking "secrets". I have learnt so much this week and made a piece of furniture I wouldn't have believed I could do before the course. Learning how to turn wood on the lathe was great fun! The lunchtime lectures were also very good and I've picked up a lot of information, hints, tips and "do's and don'ts". This course has given me a lot of inspiration and confidence and I can't wait to get cracking on my own projects! I'm already planning on signing up for the second course. If you know little or nothing about woodworking and want to take it up as a hobby, I don't think you could do better than attend this course. Thanks Richard and Mark for a fantastic week!"
