Description
Learn about the art of fused glass within this relaxed, small group workshop. You will be free to create your own designs and explore ideas with lots of personal attention. This mean that you be guaranteed to take away fused glass pieces that exceed you expectations as a beginner. Within the workshop you will learn how to cut glass safely, learn about the different types of glass available to fuse with and experiment with the effects they create. You will be able to make fused items with a range of glass, metals and fibre papers to create 3 pieces during your day. These could include a coaster, small dish, freestanding suncatcher or hanging picture. Helen is happy to run fused glass days for friends if you want to have a fun day out doing something creative with friends or family. As a former secondary school art teacher with 16 years experience Helen is happy to teach students of 11 years plus, but does request that a parent remains with any young person coming on a workshop.
