"I attended the Easter Bunny class together with my (grown-up) daughter. Neither of us had ever done any needle-felting before, but we loved it. Zenia is a delight and explains everything so well and is always ready to help with any difficulties. It was rather lovely to sit in the cosy Polish library surrounded by books, felting away with a very friendly group of people, and a huge cup of tea and biscuits. We were very pleased with our finished bunnies, and had a very relaxing, enjoyable Sunday afternoon."

Karin is a gifted and wonderful teacher and we, on the course were all able, no matter what our previous experience or expertise to make wonderful animals. I would wholeheartedly recommend Karin to anyone and everyone from an absolute beginner like me to a master. Attending on the course was enriching and inspiring and I cannot wait to attend another."

"This course was just so much fun. We learnt a lot about techniques, materials ideas and Adela, as a self-taught mosaic artist, shares all the hints and tips that she has learnt on the way. Her work is absolutely stunning - so there’s hope for us all. She is generous with materials, information, ideas and tea and biscuits ?. It was a great taster session and inspires you to go and do more. One thing I’d advise you to do - have an idea for a design (to fit anything up to about 6x4 inch area) before you come. Templates of various shapes are supplied including squares that would make great little wall plaques / teapot stands etc. There are about 7 in a group and it was friendly and inspiring."

"Lynn is the best. So welcoming and patient. I was a complete beginner. But by the end of the afternoon I had made a granny square and started on a scarf which I have now finished. Lynn is very patient and is very happy to go over things as many times as needed. She makes you feel at ease. I am going to book another course, it was well worth the money. Lynn has a wonderful collection of items she has made - they are all fanatics and she's more then willing to show them to you.Thank you Lynn for a great afternoon and your patience as I know I was not your easiest pupil. "I really enjoyed the free-machine embroidery workshop with Dawn that she hosted in her lovely home. The day was so relaxed and Dawn supplied lots of inspiration which helped get the creativity flowing. I really enjoyed learning this skill on my own machine with great company (including the cats) along with Dawn's expertise and words of encouragement. I can't wait to frame my work and do some more machine embroidery at home. I would love to go on another workshop with Dawn soon. My only regret is that I didn't ask for the cake recipe! :) Thank you Dawn x"

"I have just done this course on the 24th March, it was fabulous. I made a beautiful fully lined zipped shoulder bag. On the day you get all the help and tuition you need to complete the bag so you take it home completed and ready to use. Marian and Lizzie are so lovely nothing is too much trouble for them, they have great skills and knowledge which they pass on to you as you need them. The courses are small so you are guaranteed to get the help you need without feeling out of your depth. If you have done some machine sewing it helps, but its not a problem if you haven't. The cake and lunch were scrumptious too. It was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday and what an achievement to have a hand made bag that you have made!!! I highly recommend this course and I would do it again to make a different bag."

Matt was always circulating among the group and helped over little difficulties. The day flew by and I managed to produce my little work of art. Will definitely do another day."

"What an amazing weekend! Whatever expectations I had for this were exceeded by the excellent Mark and Richard. Having done no woodwork since school, other than bodge a bit of DIY, I felt a complete novice. No matter. I was helped along when I needed it and left to it when I could cope, no stress. I am proud of the box I have made, it didn't think it would be as good as it is. That is down to the help from the guys. I thoroughly recommend this weekend to any one."

"The course was an excellent blend of fun and learning. Kerry is very knowledgeable and is able to communicate that knowledge in a lively and enjoyable way. The setting, in Kerry's old world kitchen, is so relaxing and welcoming. I found the Saturday morning course just perfect. There were six participants and Kerry's relaxed style soon breaks the ice and has everyone talking and laughing. The cake and coffee was delicious. I have come away with information about suppliers and candle making as well as with the confidence that I will make candles at home for gifts. I would highly recommend this workshop even if you were going along on your own."

"I had a specific project in mind, to make a stained glass window for a panel of glass on our stairs. Matt was so helpful in the whole process, visiting the house to help with practical ideas/colours. Then it was my birthday present from family to attend the course to actually make it. I was a little nervous having never done anything like it before, but learnt lots about working with glass, and have created a unique piece of art for my home. Matt is a great teacher. It was a long day, but well worth it. Would recommend to anyone. It really helped me on the day to have a specific project/plan/idea."

"What an excellent way to spend a Saturday morning! Kerry is an excellent teacher and is very knowledgeable about candle making. We made our own candles after picking from some amazing fragrances. Whilst waiting for our candles to set we mixed our own scent from Kerry’s wide selection after learning about the scents, different types of wax and how to burn candles - yes there are right and wrong ways!! It was great to learn a new technique and produce our very own candles- can’t wait to burn it!"

"A great day spent carving a spoon and learning the skills to take away and use in the future. We learnt about taking the bulk of wood away from the log using an axe and then knife work for the carving. It was tough on the hands but rewarding to see the spoon that finally came out of the wood. The setting is ideal in the barn workshop and we had a delicious home-cooked lunch and cake. Would recommend to beginners wanting to learn a new skill."
