Emma Thomas reviewed: Candlemaking workshops for beginners in Hastoe, nr Tring

"What a super course, Ann was absolutely lovely and we made some super candles varying in shape, size, colours & scent. Tea/coffee & cakes served. The course is run in a beautiful village church hall with excellent parking, easy to find. Had a very enjoyable relaxing few hours & came away with super candles, well worth the money, I shall look to go back to the advanced course in the future. 5 stars!"

Stephanie Bradshaw reviewed: Pole Lathe Bowl Turning - Your First Bowl

"Who would have thought that a complete novice on any form of lathe would turn out a bowl in one day? I was uncertain, but with Ade's very clear step by step tuition, plus a bit of help now and then, I managed a bowl. I'm only sad that we didn't have a little more time, but the course has left me wanting to try again. Most importantly, the course was great fun and Ade is a very good humoured teacher."

Rachael reviewed: Introduction to Kintsugi

"I wasn't blessed with being good at art but that didn't matter at all. Pippa is such a fabulous artist herself and a great teacher too. She enabled me to make something beautiful and learn about an age old art. The venue was stunning and the workshop a real joy. Can't wait for the next one."

"I attended a day ceramics course with Nik Hunter-Dale recently and it was brilliant! We learned how to work with porcelain clay, a very satisfying medium, and went on to make various items ourselves. Nik showed us how to create patterns in the porcelain and various paint effects. I was delighted with what I was able to make and had a fun and inspiring day."
