Description

This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their own set of wire wrapped rings. During this workshop you'll learn techniques such as measuring, ring sizing, wire wrapping and beading to add a pop of colour to your ring designs.  These techniques will be practised to allow for experiment and play. You can upgrade to sterling silver wire on the day too! Expect to make between 4-8 rings depending upon ability. During this workshop refreshments will be provided. Places are limited to twelve people on this workshop to allow individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist with each project.

What's included in the price?

Use of required equipment/tools. All materials to make at least x5 rings. On hand experienced tutor to instruct and guide you through the course. Refreshments and biscuits.

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
