Description
This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous metalworking experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to emboss metal aluminium foil to create wonderful patterns/shapes that can be cut out and strung together to create a garland. On this workshop you'll learn how to transfer a drawing or sketch onto metal (you can draw your own or choose from some stencils to use too!) use a variety of embossing tools and how to cut and punch holes so that your creations can be used as Easter decorations. NOTE; this workshop is suitable for children over the age of 6 and they must be accompanied with an adult. This is a family friendly workshop designed for everyone to get involved and have fun. Children are classed as those under the age of 16. This ticket price is for x1 adult and x1 child. During this workshop refreshments will be provided.
What's included in the price?
On hand experienced tutor. All tools and equipment required to complete project. All materials to make x1 embossed shape per person, which can be strung as a decoration or together to create a garland. Refreshments and biscuits.

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
