Winter Craft Day - Loom Knitting, Macrame and Sewing

Description

Come along and spend a relaxing day crafting and try some new and fun crafts. During the day we will create a fab macrame pot holder and a pretty macrame necklace. We will also make and hand sew a festive fabric flower decoration and try the simple craft of loom knitting and create gorgeous knitted paper chains, perfect to wrap around your tree or as a hanging decoration. A delicious lunch will be provided along with tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day. There will be a range of material colours to choose from for all four projects and I will email you in advance of the day, so you can select your colour choice for your loom knit paper chains. All materials and equipment will be provided and the price includes lunch, tea and coffee and biscuits. You will also get to take your knitting loom and tool home with you, along with extra yarn to continue knitting your knitted paper chains. The day will be lead by me, Lyndsey. I am a qualified adult teacher and have been running craft workshops and parties for the last 12 years. All of the projects are perfect for crafting, knitting and macrame beginners. The venue is the Devon Hotel, in Exeter and the crafting day is on Sun 24th Nov 24 from 10am-5pm. Please note the function room is up a small flight of stairs and unfortunately there is no lift access. If you are travelling from further afield, accommodation is also available at the Devon Hotel.

What's included in the price?

Hi, I'm Lyndsey and for the last 12 years I have been delivering craft workshops in my studio in South Devon and craft retreats and parties across the South West. I love all crafts and teach a variety, from sewing to macrame and arm knitting to bargello.
