Description

Join us for a transformative journey into the world of abstract sculpture at our Sculpture Workshop, led by the talented tutor Lydia Smith. Set in the inspiring surroundings of the National Gallery, this workshop provides a unique opportunity for adults to explore their creativity through sculpture. Lydia, renowned for her innovative teaching approach, has titled this workshop "The No Intentions Workshop." Under her guidance, students will be encouraged to enter a state of flow, relieving any pressure for perfection and allowing their creativity to flourish organically. Previous workshops led by Lydia have seen remarkable success and positive feedback. Students are often surprised by what they create when given the freedom to explore without constraints. Each participant will receive personalised 1-2-1 tuition from Lydia, who tailors their learning experience holistically, respecting their pace and style. The workshop aims to foster confidence in creativity and provide a safe space where judgment is replaced with self-expression through sculpture. At the end of the workshop, students can take their creations home, creating a tangible reminder of their journey of their artistic exploration.
