Description
Still life in oils ~ Catherine is an experienced tutor who believes that anyone can learn to paint, regardless of age or ability, if equipped with the right methods, tools and encouragement. Whether you are new to oil painting, or a seasoned painter, there will be something for everyone, as the small group size allows for personalised tuition. This workshop will focus on creating dramatic colour and light. It will be suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced as there will be something for everyone to learn. We will be using a limited palette of bright pigments and Catherine will show you how to prepare a still life set up, plan and mix your palette, then work systematically to create a vibrant painting. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives etc And of course you take your wonderful creations from the day. Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you to another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us via the 'message the tutor button'. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
