This class is the perfect blend of the fun of making a lampshade to spruce up your home, with the relaxing process of painting with watercolours under Ruth's gentle guidance. Everything you need is provided and you will be taken through each process step by step, ensuring you achieve a beautiful result. You will go home with a fabulous new lampshade for either a pendant or a table lamp. Our Studio is in a beautiful converted Oast with exposed beams and gentle views across the farmland. Filled with mouth-watering aromas from The Oast Bakery, where Alison prepares our delicious refreshments, this is the perfect place to escape the pressures of daily life and enjoy some creative time for yourself. Our aim is to offer the chance to unwind, learn a new skill and meet like minded people whilst enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake.

The Oast Studio was started in 2021, as the COVID restrictions came to an end and we realised there was a need and a demand for people to come and spend time crafting together. We paired together our love of food and sewing and The Oast Studio was created! We now offer over 80 different craft and sewing classes from Needle Felting & Basket Weaving to Sewing & Painting. With freshly baked treats at every class plus home cooked lunches at all our full day courses.
