Description

Join us for a fun evening to learn how to make origami lilies. During the workshop you will be able to choose from a selection of coloured and patterned paper, sheet music and book pages to fold your lilies, and them assemble them on wooden stems. Alternative options for displaying the lilies will be discussed. You will develop the skills to make further lilies at home. Paper flowers make lovely gifts, home decorations or even wedding bouquets. Perfect for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, weddings, first wedding anniversaries, or just to treat yourself! The price is per person. The date(s) on this listing are for scheduled workshops at a Touch of Craft Yorkshire near Ossett, which are available for individual bookings. "I did the craft paper flowers course with a group of friends and it was brilliant fun - I'm not so good at "neat" crafts so I was expecting it to be a bit too precise for me but not at all, Laura was super clear and helpful and had loads of tricks to make it really easy and fun. We made 3 different flower types and had plenty of time to make more of the ones we liked best, and they all genuinely looked beautiful, even mine! We could bring our own paper if we had particular old maps or books we wanted to use too. I've since used my skills to make roses to give as gifts which were very well received."
